Подведены итоги экопроекта «Остров мечты», непосредственную поддержку экологическим мероприятиям оказывала администрация краевой столицы.

За прошедший летний сезон с острова Рейнеке вывезено порядка двух тысяч семидесяти- и столитровых мешков мусора: пластика,стекла, жестяных банок и других отходов, а также около 4 килограмм отработанной еды. Собранный мусор отправился в мусороперерабатывающие заводы.

Чтобы представить себе, сколько мусора собрали добровольные помощники, достаточно провести цифровую визуализацию. К примеру, 2000 мешков с отходами — это семь КамАЗов, три грузовых транспортных средства вместимостью 3 тонны (стекло) и два грузовика вместимостью 1,5 тонны (пластик). Весь собранный мусор — «дело рук» отдыхающих на острове Рейнеке.

Экопроект был организован три месяца назад и уже принес ощутимые результаты. Было организовано множество экологических туров, экосубботников, был проведен волонтерский экофестиваль и другие акции и экологические мероприятия. Участниками «Острова мечты» стали более 250 человек, среди добровольных помощников — неравнодушные граждане, жители острова Рейнеке, студенты института защиты моря МГУ.
