Не так давно, спортивная площадка в Смоляниново представляла собой пустую коробку, которая во время дождей превращалась в настоящее болото. В июле текущего года, в Шкотовский район с визитом прибыл глава региона Владимир Миклушевский, тогда, с просьбой о восстановлении спортивного объекта, к нему обратилась депутат районной Думы. Ответственным за объект В. Миклушевский назначил вице-губернатора Павла Серебрякова, срок сдачи установил 1 сентября 2020 года.

Реконструкция спортивного объекта, как и было запланировано, завершилась ко Дню Знаний. Баскетбольные кольца, футбольные ворота и отличное резиновое покрытие, которое позволит заниматься спортом даже в дождь, возведены силами департамента физической культуры и спорта Приморского края. Сегодня, качество оборудования и покрытия охотно тестируют школьники.

Не оставил без внимания Владимир Миклушевский и нужды воинской части посёлка Шкотово. Хоккейная площадка — давняя несбыточная мечта военнослужащих. Теперь мечта обретает реальность. В воинскую часть уже доставлено всё необходимое для возведения современной хоккейной коробки.
