Более 450 школьников из Большого камня, которые желают подработать во время летних каникул, получат такую возможность. Программа по трудоустройству ребят реализуется совместными усилиями муниципалитета края, который трудоустраивает 112 человек и местного окружного центра занятости населения. Как отметила Лариса Серебренникова, главный специалист городского управления образования, только за июнь в рамках реализации краевой программы в работах по ремонту школ округа уже был задействован 101 школьник от 14 до 18 лет. Всего на оплату труда подростков было выделено 450 тысяч рублей.

Также школьники устраиваются на временную работу во многие организации, среди которых ДВЗ «Звезда», почтовые отделения, детские сады и коммерческие структуры. Достигшие 16 лет могут работать в качестве волонтеров вожатыми в детских пришкольных лагерях, где за сезон отдыхает более 1,7 тысячи детей младшего возраста. Наиболее востребованной в этом году оказалась первая смена, на протяжении июня пришкольные лагеря посещали 1270 детей.

Кроме того, в рамках действующих краевых программ, городское управление образования частично компенсирует внесенную родителями плату за путевки на оздоровление детей, отдыхающих в загородных спортивных и туристических лагерях.
