В опубликованном недавно докладе Министерства финансов России была отмечена работа администрации ЗАТО Большой Камень в направлении повышения прозрачности бюджетного процесса, его доступности для граждан. Доклад касался лучших ориентированных на граждан практик в сфере федерального, регионального, местного бюджета. В частности, авторы доклада обратили внимание на своевременно и качественно подготовленную и размещенную на сайте органов самоуправления презентацию на тему «Бюджет для граждан».

Комментируя это событие, Вячеслав Москаев, и.о. главы горадминистрации ЗАТО Большой Камень, отметил, что органы МСУ всегда стремятся информировать горожан о работе над главным финансовым документом региона. Открытость и прозрачность этого процесса важна и является приоритетной. Ведь вовлекая жителей в формирование бюджета, чиновники и сами начинают более ответственно подходить к принятию важных решений. Кроме того, они получают определенный отклик от общественности на каждое свое действие. Следовательно, начинают лучше понимать требования и запросы общества.

Следует отметить, что Большой Камень уже второй год принимает бюджет одним из первых в Приморье. Местные власти считают, что этому способствует эффективное взаимодействие исполнительной и законодательной ветвей власти. В разработке бюджета активно участвуют депутаты, а его проект обязательно проходит этап «нулевых» чтений и публичных обсуждений.
